Travel and Lodging Information

     If you’re flying in to the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport travel is less than 10 minutes to all of our events in the heart of Birmingham’s City Center and our host hotels, the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel and the Westin Birmingham. If you are staying at the Sheraton Birmingham or the Westin Birmingham, they provide shuttle service to and from the airport.   There is also taxi service available at the airport.  Click here for a link to city bus routes.

     The Sheraton Birmingham and the Westin Birmingham provide special race weekend rates and are conveniently located within walking distance of the expo, the start/finish line area, and the post race party. These events are all located in and around our weekend race headquarters at the Boutwell Auditorium near Linn Park. To learn more about our host properties or to make reservations, see contact information below. In order to secure the special rate, you must ask for the Mercedes-Benz Marathon Weekend package. This rate will only be offered until January 30, 2014 or until they are booked so make your reservations early.
