Watch the Race Live on Fox 6 on Sunday, Feb. 14th

Register or Change Events by 11:59 p.m. Sunday Night

Online registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, February 7th (we extended it one more day from what it says above in the header) for the Mercedes Marathon, Mercedes Half-Marathon, First Commercial Bank Marathon Relay and 5KBR. If you don't register by Sunday night, weekend registration will be available at the St. Vincent's Health & Wellness Expo next Friday and Saturday at its new location at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex in the South Exhibition Hall. Expo registrants are not guaranteed correct sized finisher shirts or medals so we suggest (and beg) that you register early. Put yourself in our shoes and try to plan an event of this size - please register early so we have time to plan accordingly. You'll also save money by registering now.

Registration and packet pickup for the 5KBR will be available on Friday at the Expo; race day registration and packet pickup for the 5KBR will be available inside of Boutwell Auditorium starting at 6:30 a.m. and ending at 7:45 a.m. Race day registration will close at 7:45 a.m. sharp so there will be time to get everyone in the database before the race begins. Race day registrants are not guaranteed a fabulous race shirt, so again, early registration is beneficial to us all!

If you need to change races, please send an email to info@mercedesmarathon.com by 11:59 Sunday night as well. No changes will be accepted after this time until the Expo. Any changes to your registration at the Expo will result in a $20 service fee, so help us out with our race preparations and let us know any changes now rather than next weekend.

Carbs for a Cause!

The Bell Center, one of our official charities, will be hosting “Carbs for a Cause” a pre-race pasta dinner on Saturday, February 13th at the McWane Center. With the event being on Valentine’s weekend, it will be difficult to get reservations at most restaurants, so avoid the crowds and enjoy a nice pasta dinner that will benefit The Bell Center directly. See the “Carbs for a Cause” link above. If any seats are still available by the time of the Expo, you’ll be able to purchase them at The Bell Center booth.
